Chartered accountants Crowe Clark Whitehill are sponsoring the entertainment at this year’s Isle of Man Newspapers’ Awards for Excellence, which will include celebrity compere Alexander Armstrong.
The popular host of BBC TV’s game show, Pointless, will be leading the evening’s entertainment. Armstrong is also well known as one half of the comedy duo Armstrong and Miller.
Crowe Clark Whitehill has been established on the Isle of Man for over 30 years, supporting a strong local and international client base through the provision of high quality audit, tax, advisory, outsourcing, family office and fiduciary services.
Although locally owned, the firm is also a member of the Crowe Clark Whitehill newtwork in the UK and associated worldwide through Crowe Horwath International, a top 10 global accounting network, as director Debbie Clague explains:
‘This allows us to provide the reach and access to specialists who will look after our clients wherever they are. We care passionately about their success and pride ourselves in the quality of our relationships.’
Crowe Clark Whitehill also has a local bookkeeping arm, Pinnacle.
This is the first year the firm has been associated with the Awards as a sponsor and Debbie says:
‘The Awards for Excellence is a great event for bringing the business community together and showcasing talent on the Isle of Man. At a time when people tend to focus on the negative, the Awards successfully highlight the positives about the island and all it has to offer. It is always a wonderful opportunity to hear the success stories on the island that might not otherwise be celebrated.
‘It is always a fun and well organised event and a very enjoyable evening for all those who attend. The entertainment offered is always of a very high standard which is what Crowe Clark Whitehill always strives to provide our clients so naturally we are delighted to be sponsoring it this year.’
